Category Archives: Family Portraits What a fun portrait session I had today. Not only was it with a great mom and her adorable son but my daughter went along with me to “assist”. I got to talk to her about light, sun angle, and how these are the types of portraits all mothers want with their kids!  I actually met Erica and Dan (sadly) after their wedding, which I would have loved to photograph because they are the most delightful and easy to photograph couple. Dan is heading off to boot camp in December and they wanted to have some portraits taken before he left. They brought along their adorable dog, Abbie...  Since I do a lot of weddings for clients who already have children, I tend to not limit the “engagement session” to just portraits of the couple BEFORE the wedding. Instead of an “Engagement Session”, I offer “Portrait Sessions” that my wedding clients can use before or up to a year after the wedding and...  I wrapped up my last sessions of 2010 this weekend! I am looking forward to the break and the time to design the wedding albums that are patiently awaiting my attention! This weekend I photographed three lovely children. Both boys I had the pleasure of photographing a couple of years ago and now their new...  Such a beautiful baby and such a delightful mom and dad! They will be great parents because they have the best sense of humor! I especially love the “towel” photo, which was all their idea! |
